Becky J. Yencharis, a resident of Claymont, Delaware, died at home on October 18, 2016.

Becky was born in Scranton, PA to Joseph and Ann Bulauskas and had five siblings, all deceased. Becky was married to Al Yencharis, who died in 1986. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the Teledyne-Wirz for many years. She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Becky was an avid runner and won races in many states in her age division. She was a lifetime member of the Teledyne Runners Club in California. She was the oldest member of the Pike Creek Running Club, and also belonged to the Valley Striders and the Scranton Running Club. Becky ran the Steamtown Marathon and finished the 26 mile run. During those years, she received numerous trophies and made many friends.

Becky was a member of Holy Rosary Church and enjoyed volunteering at fund raisers. She was also a member of the St. Patricks' Secular Franciscan Order most of her life.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. The visitation will be held at 10am at Holy Rosary Church. The burial service will follow immediately after Mass at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Ave, Wilmington, DE 19805. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way # 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
