Beverly Ann Clarke, age 81, of Lewes, Delaware, formerly of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on Tuesday, March 29 with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Eleanor L. and Herbert E. King.

Beverly was happiest when spending time with her cherished friends and family and enjoying the surf and sand of the Delaware Beaches. She graduated from Wilmington High School and was employed by the DuPont Co., the University of Delaware and the Lorelton.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Dianne Fair (Charlie) of Hockessin; sons, Bruce Bennett (Betty) of Wilmington, Richard James Clarke of Newark and Brian Bennett; her daughter-in-law, Shirley Bennett of Claymont; her brother, Charles H. "Bud" King (Theresa) of Smyrna; her beloved grandchildren, cousins, niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband, Richard J. "Scotty" Clarke and her brother, Robert A. King.

Family and friends are invited to visit the Chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE on Monday, April 4 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon with the burial service immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Beverly's memory may be made to Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth, 32409 Lewes Georgetown Highway, Lewes, DE 19958 or The Lions Club of Milton, P.O. Box 256, Milton, DE 19968.
