Navy Emblem

Christopher Wolski, age 50, born on November 15, 1966 in Chester, Pennsylvania passed away surrounded by his loving family, Thursday, February 9, 2017.

Chris graduated from Howard High School in 1984, where his career pathway was welding. He joined the U.S. Navy directly after High School, where he was then stationed on the U.S.S. John F .Kennedy until 1988. He then was a part of the U.S. Navy Reserves until 1992. Following his career in the U.S. Navy, Chris worked as a welder for Amtrak for many years. Chris in his down time picked up hobbies for building computers, pursing his love of motorcycles and sports cars. He enjoyed time with his family vacationing at the beach, rollercoaster riding, Sunday family dinners and spur of the moment day trips full of fun with his children.

Chris was preceded in death by his brothers/ best friends, Jeffrey and Gregory Wolski; father, Harry Wolski; and sister, Tina Petrowsky.

He survived by his loving children, C.J., Amber, and Ashley; mother, Tessie Wolski; brother, Michael; sister, Debra O'Brien and her husband, Joe ;and multiple nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 10AM – 12PM at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike Claymont, Delaware 19703. The Funeral Service will begin at 12PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to NAMI.
