Deidrea "Dee" Marie Carson, age 58, of Wilmington, DE passed away suddenly on Friday, May 6, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones.

Deidrea was born in Erie, PA, the daughter of Virginia (Wambach) and the late William J. Carson. She was a graduate of Newark High School and attended the University of Delaware and Cecil County Community College. She was working in customer service at Verizon. Dee enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchild, spoiling her dog, going to the beach and shopping. An avid reader, you could always catch her with a book.

Dee is survived by her beloved children, Jennifer Feller (fiancé Mark Becker) of Bear, James Feller Jr. of Wilmington and Holli (Rob) Sandy and their son, Rex, who brought so much joy, of Elk Mills, MD; brothers, Richard "Skip" (Kathy) McCullough of Waterford, PA, Daniel (Linda) Carson of Jamison, PA, William (Susan) Carson of Claymont, Thomas (Jennifer) Carson of Middletown; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and her dog, Tinsel. She was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Hibach. Dee will be dearly missed by her family and friends and will forever be in our hearts.

A visitation will be held on Friday May 13, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at Chichester United Wesleyan Church, 5151 Chichester Avenue, Upper Chichester, PA 19014. Friends and family are welcome at Chichester United at 9:30 AM. The burial service will take place immediately following the service in Lawncroft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Rd # 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004; or the Delaware Humane Association, 701 "A" St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
