Love Emblem

Dora Kofron, 74, of Claymont, Delaware passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016.

Dora had attended Brandywine High School and dedicated many years serving as a crossing guard. Dora treasured countless annual summers with family and friends in Cape May, NJ. Her love for sweets, especially cheesecake, never went unnoticed. She enjoyed participating in a bowling league and being a part of the Al-Anon family. Dora was the most loving woman you would be honored to meet.

Dora was preceded in death by her sons, Burlin E Owens III, Clinton Owens, Sr., and her brother, Pete Vandever. Her devoted husband, George Kofron, grandchildren, Kelly Thomas, Alexis, Adreane, Beau and Clinton Owens Jr., great-grandchildren, Lilly and Joseph, daughters-in-law, Shari Owens, Barbara Owens and brother, Bill Vandever survive her.

Special Thanks to the Al-Anon Family for their continued support.

The burial will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 10:00am. A memorial will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday November 20, 2016 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1120 Darley Road, Wilmington, DE 19810.
