Grace Harrison Bradley, of Claymont, DE passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the age of 82.

Grace graduated from Claymont High School in 1951. She received a degree in Physical Education from the University of Delaware in 1955.

Grace was a phys ed teacher at William Penn High School in New Castle where she also coached field hockey, cheerleading and softball. She left teaching in 1969 to take care of her family. Grace was very involved in her children's lives. She coached CYAA basketball and was the cheerleading coordinator there for many years. She was also a season ticket holder for UD football games. She loved her Blue Hens. Grace enjoyed gardening, doing genealogy and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Nora (Swope) Harrison and her husband of 33 years, Charles. Grace is survived by her son, Kevin and his wife, Tracey, Garnet Valley, PA; her daughter, Kelly and her husband, Michael, Garnet Valley, PA; 5 grandchildren, Colleen, Kerri, Tierney, Rogan and Braeden, whom she adored.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday May 26th, 2016 at 11 AM at St. Helena's Roman Catholic Church, 602 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday morning from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE. Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Claymont Fire Company, 3223 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.
