Kenneth J. Waltz, age 70, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Kenneth attended Father Judge High School and Neshaminy High School. He joined the U.S. Navy after high school as a 3rd Class Boiler Technician. Ken worked for Nova Consultants, LTD., as a District Engineer for the last 16 years.

Kenneth was predeceased by his mother, Helen Waltz; father, Hower Waltz; and sister, Judy Berry. He is survived by wife of 49 years, Linda Mitchell Waltz; son, John Waltz (Jane) of Bear, DE; daughter, Sandra Waltz of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren, Jasmine Hulme, Josh Hulme and Kara Gallaher. He is also survived by his sister, Jennie Arment (Henry) of Trevose, PA; his brother, James Waltz (Lisa) of Langhorne, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, with a Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. Interment will be private in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kenneth Waltz may be made to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown-Stanton Road, Suite 1214, Newark, DE 19713.
