Laura Wanda (Rogers) Barry, age 80, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Seasons Hospice.

Upon graduating from Wilmington High School in 1954, Wanda spent several years working as a nurse's aide at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. She managed The Green Frog Tavern in New Castle for many years and later worked for Pathmark until her retirement in 2012.
Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Stanley.

Mrs. Barry is survived by her children, Stan (Marge), Rob (Julie), Doug (Karen), Steve (Jennie), Kim and Roger (Victoria), as well as the joys of her life, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Liz Marino and sisters-in-law, Pat Rogers and Diane Rogers.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 7 PM at Gebhart Funeral Home, 531 Delaware Street, New Castle, DE 19720. The visitation will take place from 5 PM to 7 PM the same day at the funeral home. Burial service will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care Christiana Hospital, 4755 Ogletown –Stanton Road, Newark, DE 19718. seasonsfoundation.org
