Love Emblem

Lora Annette Allmond Pazdalski , age 92, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Friday, March 11, 2016 in Wilmington, DE.

Lora was born in Murphy, North Carolina to the late Jerry and Cora Lee Allmond. She met her one and only love, Louis Pazdalski and were soon married and lived together for more than 55 years. She thoroughly enjoyed family get-togethers and volunteering as a scout leader.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lou, her oldest son, Jerald, her sisters, Ora Padgett, Sandra Derberry, Flora Wrightman and brother, Marshall Allmond. She is survived by her brother, Leonard Allman (Fran) of South Carolina and her sons, Jonathan Pazdalski of Elkton, MD, Louis Pazdalski Jr. of WA, Kevin Pazdalski (Cynthia) of LeRoy, IL and her daughter, Cynthia Yalisove (Edward) of Hockessin, DE. Lora was blessed with 14 grandchildren, Aric Pazdalski, Crystal O'Neill (Dave), Jason Pazdalski (Lisa), Sarah Cooper (Scott), Melanie Friel, Brian Pazdalski, Hewitt Hallberg, Emma, Julia and Daniel Yalisove, Ashley Pazdalski, Nicholas Pazdalski, Kellie Pazdalski-Young (Ryan) and Kendall Roper (Will). In addition, she also had 13 great-grandchildren. Lora was loved by many and will be missed, forever in our hearts.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703 on Friday, March 18 from 10am to 11am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday morning at 11:30am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
