Love Emblem

Margaret T. Maguire, age 58, of Wilmington Delaware, died peacefully on March 12, 2017, surrounded by loved ones.

Margaret had been a teacher at St. Helena's for over 30 years until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her children and was a devoted mother. Margaret also enjoyed Facebook because it gave her the opportunity to keep up with family and friends and with current events. She was dearly loved by many and will be truly missed.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Vincent and Nyra Maguire, her sister Nyra, her brother, Jack and her brother-in-law, Dave Lank.

She is survived by her loving partner, Richard Schneider and by her beloved children, Michael Ganakis, Vincent Ganakis and Margaret Mary Miller (Dillon). She is also survived by her siblings and their spouses, Vincent (Julie), Michele, Catherine (Diane), Michael (Jill), Joseph (Ginny), Paul (Maureen), Mary, Gerard and Agnes, as well as her sister-in-law, Kathy Maguire and numerous nieces and nephews (as you would expect from a "good Irish Catholic family".)

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703 on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., where friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 405 Marsh Lane, Suite 4, Wilmington, DE 19804.
