Nancy Bailey Ferguson, age 87, of New Castle, DE passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016.

Nancy was born in East New Market, MD on April 17, 1929, and was raised in Delmar, DE. She attended Goldey College in Wilmington, DE and spent more than two decades as a secretary with Du Pont Co. Nancy married the love of her life, Harry W. Ferguson, Sr., in 1949; they were married for 61 years.

Nancy is predeceased by her husband, Harry and their daughter, Julie Ferguson Jaycox.

Nancy adored being an active member of Immanuel Episcopal Church and the New Castle community. She touched the lives of so many people and will be sorely missed by all.

Nancy is survived by son, Harry W. Ferguson, Jr. and his wife, Eileen, their sons, James, Josh and his wife, Anna; Julie's husband Gary, their children, Grayson, Jillian and Jeffrey. Nancy's entire family, including nieces, Susan Lowe, Jane Howerton, Cindy Fowler and nephews, John and Bob Fowler and John Lowe, Jr., will miss her amazing wit, her fighting spirit and her uncompromising love of family.

You are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 1pm on Monday, August 8, 2016, at Immanuel Episcopal Church on the Green, 50 Market Street, New Castle, DE. In lieu of flowers, a gift to Immanuel Episcopal Church on the Green, 100 Harmony Street, New Castle, DE 19720, will be greatly appreciated.
