Paul Austin Singleton, Sr., age 91, passed away on Wednesday, April 27th, 2016.

A native to Wittman, Maryland, Mr. Singleton was a carpenter with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local #626 New Castle from 1966 to 1993.

During WWII he served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific.

Paul was predeceased by his first wife, Elsie and his second wife, Mildred Virginia Singleton and his son, Dennis.
Mr. Singleton is survived by his six children, Joanne Limko, Dawn Moran, Paul, Jr., Steve, Mark, and Michael, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Delaware Hospice for their kind staff who took excellent care of Mr. Singleton.

A visitation will be held on Friday May 6th, 2016 at 11 AM at Gebhart Funeral Home, 531 Delaware Street, New Castle, DE 19720, where the funeral service will begin at 12 Noon. The burial service will take place at 2 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
