Yolanda V Bell, 93, of Townsend DE, formerly of Trenton, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Seasons Hospice, Christiana Hospital.

Yolanda was born in East Harlem and spent her formative years in Brooklyn, where she attended Samuel L Tilden High School. She then worked for the Bulova Watch Company until she enlisted in the US Army during WWII serving in the Women's Army Corp (WAC). While stationed at Ft. Hamilton, she met and married her husband, Harry who was returning from combat duty. They subsequently spent their lives together in the Trenton area of NJ where they raised their four children. Later in life, Yolanda resided in North Delaware.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her spouse, Harry E. Bell; and three sisters, Mildred Lesca, Flora Lanzaro and Ida Staffa. She is survived by her four children, Daniel (Maria) Abbamonte of Delaware, Ramona (Michael) Tumelty, of New Jersey, Harry (Marla) Bell, Jr. of Washington, Virginia (Cass Roberts) McTighe of Missouri; her grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; great nieces and great nephews. She is also survived by two sisters, Gemma LaSasso of Delaware and Dolores Benson of Arizona.

Yolanda loved spending time with her dog, Cricket. She is eternally grateful to those that took part in her care in recent years, including her granddaughter, Adriana Abbamonte.

A Funeral Service and burial were held privately.
